The Navigators is an international, interdenominational Christian organization. Jesus Christ gave His followers a Great Commission in Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” The primary aim of The Navigators is to help fulfill that commission by making disciples and developing disciplemakers in every nation.

Many years ago Dawson Trotman, founder of The Navigators, came up with an illustration as he was looking up at the sky one evening. As he looked up at the Big Dipper, he began to “hang” the different aspects of the ministry of The Navigators on the different stars of that constellation. The Big Dipper Illustration is what he came up with. This ministry website fits into the little star for “Other Works” in the scheme of Dawson Trotman´s design. It is helping and encouraging other ministries in their goal to go and make disciples of all nations.
